Elizabeth “Liza” Wang Ming-Chun, is a Hong Kong diva, actress and emcee. She is a well-known personality in the Chinese-speaking community. She has been nicknamed “The Big Sister” in the Hong Kong entertainment circle. Liza moved to Hong Kong from Shanghai in the autumn of 1956 and signed up for acting classes at a renowned academy in 1967. From thousands of applicants, the 20-year-old Liza was one of the nine that were picked to attend acting classes. Liza initially made her mark in the entertainment industry via drama series.
At the same time as her acting career, Liza has a successful singing career in which she released albums for her television series which consisted of drama series theme songs. Liza sings in both Cantopop and Mandopop genres. She has also performed duets with singer Adam Cheng. Till this day, she still performs drama theme songs for musical series like the Glittering Days TV series. Luo Jia Ying is born in Shunde, Guangdong as the eldest son of actor Law Kar-kuen and his wife Lee Ngan-guen. He was originally a Cantonese opera singer in the 1970s and a practitioner of the Ng Ying Kungfu Five Animal Kung Fu arts. In 1990, he changed his career to become an actor in movies. He became popular after being cast in the show From Beijing with Love, which also starred Stephen Chow. In the 1990s, Luo played Wong Yat-fei in his first movie debut in the 1993 film Crime Story along with Jackie Chan. In 1994 he was cast in Jeff Lau’s film duology A Chinese Odyssey, in which he played the verbose Longevity Monk (Xuanzang), singing a Cantonese cover of “Only You (And You Alone)” midway through the film. Luo has rarely acted on television, especially on TVB, the television station Wang (who is also his wife) often appears on. He is most known for cooperating with ATV, which is TVB’s rival ”
