TAIWANESE singer Rainie Yang, who recently held a concert in Malaysia, said she gained weight after failing to stop herself from indulging in local cuisine, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The 40-year-old entertainer complained that her trousers became tight after just spending a few days here.

“I performed more than 30 shows (on my tour) and didn’t get fat. Today, I’m sad because I ate too much delicious food in Kuala Lumpur. It was so yummy that it makes me angry,” she joked.

Yang said she would have to work hard to slim down before her performance in Singapore in August, predicting that she will similarly binge on the food there.

As a treat for Malaysian fans, Yang sang several songs by Malaysian artistes during her concert, which included Penny Tai’s The Love You Want and Fish Leong’s Slow to Cool Down.
